Internal Audit

The internal audit unit is directly under the supervision of the managing director office.  The unit is headed by the deputy director internal audit and consists of a number of staff under him.

The internal audit unit is created to safeguard and ensures that all the laid down financial  instructions and due process are observed, in all financial activities of the authority.

Below are the some of the duties and functions performed by the internal audit unit of KNUPDA:

Liaising and reporting directly to the managing director.

Liaising with all head of departments (Directors).

he internal audit must see and counter sign all the payment vouchers’ both capital and recurrent expenditures before payment is made, in order to ensure that all the procedures are followed.
